2. I Wish For Them To Love Playing Outside
Fifty years ago, this wouldn't have even been worth mentioning. Because back then, that's what everyone did! We went out in the morning and came back at night for dinner. We were outside playing all the time- we played Hide and Seek, Mother May I, and Red Light, Green Light. We played baseball and made forts and played all kinds of games using our imaginations. And in the summer we went down to the creek to look for pollywogs and newts. I hope that my grandchildren enjoy this simple life, filled with imagination, and grow up with an appreciation for nature and a love of the outdoors.
