12. Block Out Blue Light
Not all colors of light have the same affect on your body. Blue light, which is emitted from electronics, such as smartphone and laptop screens, will suppress your secretion of melatonin, thereby disrupting your circadian rhythm.

While it's pretty much impossible to rid yourself of any use of electronics, you can at least set limits for yourself before bedtime.

Another option is to don a pair of glasses designed to protect you from blue light, such as Swanwick's Blue Light Blocking Glasses ($69).
