Big Things You Forgot Happened In 1968

President Dubcek tries to shepherd in reforms that would grant more rights to his citizens while under Soviet rule, including loosening of restrictions on the media, speech and travel. During this time the country split into two - into the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic - but soon after the Soviet Union invaded Czechoslovakia and arrested Dubcek, stopping the reforms.
