4. The Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara
The Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara originally belonged to Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia, who was the wife of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia (aka Tsar Nicholas' uncle.) She was the last Romanov to escape Russia, and she was able to smuggle a good deal of her jewelry collection out with her. When she died in 1920, her jewels were sold in order to support her exiled family, and Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth's grandmother, purchased the tiara at that time.
