Recognize these doe eyes? It's a young Angela Lansbury, with curls atop her head in pin-up girl fashion. This style was very popular in the 1950s and was achieved by rolling locks of damp hair into curls from the ends to the roots, securing them with pins near the scalp, and letting them dry. There are many types of curly ‘dos but this particular style, with its tight ringlets piled close together at the top of the head, is unmistakably ‘50s!
