Soft-spoken and classy. That was Caroline Ingalls. Even when faced with Mrs. Olsen trying to make her feel inadequate as a simple pioneer woman, Caroline always had the last laugh. That bonnet was perched atop the head of an excellent mother, wife, and teacher. Even though the Ingalls had so little in their farmhouse, I knew they actually had all they really needed.
