If you have tights that have lost their elasticity at the waist or have one too many runs, keep them for your vacuum kit. You can pop them over the top of your vacuum hose and catch things you lost on the floor. For example, if the back of your earring fell and you can't find it, put the tights over your vacuum hose and run it across the floor. The vacuum will suck it up, and the tights will catch the earring piece like a net.
