19. Don't Let Your Emotions Influence All Of Your Behaviors
Don't act on feelings that are temporary. It's okay to bounce back and forth in your mind about your decision or about your feelings towards your partner - but acting out on them in the real world is a different issue. Don't pick up the phone and text, don't jump into dating too soon to chase away these negative emotions, and don't lash out at people because you're hurting. By letting reason dictate your behaviors - and not your emotions - your life will be a lot less chaotic and your self-esteem higher.
