20. Stop Trying To Feel Okay 24/7
Pretending you're okay around the clock is just you fooling yourself. People with low self-esteem avoid self-awareness because it hurts too much. It means that you have to acknowledge pieces of yourself that disappoint you, and taking that kind of action to work through it can seem scary. But if you want your self-esteem to stay intact you have to put in that kind of work, so don't try to pretend you're fine 24/7. Acknowledge all your feelings as they come.
