17. 'Hello, Dolly!' (1969)
Based on the Broadway production of the same name, Hello Dolly! is one of my favorite films starring Barbara Streisand. Dolly (Streisand) is a match-maker who's trying to find a wife for grumpy Horace Vandergelder (Walter Matthau), the well-known "half-a-millionaire", but it becomes clear that Dolly intends to marry Horace herself. It's fun and feisty film with a great soundtrack.
