Movies From Your Childhood That You Forgot You Loved
10. 'Kramer Vs. Kramer' (1979)
A family courtroom drama, the film tells the story of Ted and Joanna Kramer's divorce and its impact on everyone involved, including the couple's young son. The film was a huge success and received nine nominations at the 52nd Academy Awards, winning the highest five: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Leading Actor (Hoffman) and Best Supporting Actress (Streep). If there were an award for gallons of tears shed while watching, it would've won that, too.
