20. Start Saying Yes More
We sometimes get into a rut of saying "no" — it's like a knee jerk reaction. But that also has the tendency to box us in and nudge our relationship into a rut. Because of that, start forcing yourself to say "yes" more often. Did your partner suggest a new restaurant? Do they want to go on a getaway this weekend? Go out with another couple? Go see a movie? Ignore the siren pull of the couch and say yes!
