Montana has been dubbed as the most unsafe state to drive in, and has 22.6 road deaths per 100,000 deaths. Not only does it have some of the most dangerous roads in terms of drunk driving deaths, but it also has the worst drivers in the nation, and significantly lower seat belt usage. The national rate is 87%, while Montana's is 74%.
