8. Delaware: ER Wait Times
Delaware has some of the worst ER wait times in the nation. According to Delaware Online, if you have the misfortune of going to the emergency room in Delaware, you can expect to wait 8 or 10 hours to be seen by a physician. Once you see a doctor, you then have to wait around three hours to be discharged. Even worse, patients who arrive with a broken bone to the ER can often expect to wait over an hour before receiving pain mediation. Ouch.
