Another outdated style is the "bubble haircut." This haircut takes on a helmet-like quality, thanks to its over-teased crown and exaggerated layers. Kelly Osbourne's American Music Awards hairdo was a perfect example of this. Her layers were  blunt and noticeable rather than blended, and they were further defined with pomade.
