As hormones change around menopause, our hair texture changes and becomes drier, thinner, and unruly. Because of that, you shouldn't be styling your hair like you did a decade ago — you need to update your routine to accommodate your new hair texture.

This means you need to use styling products that target mature hair. You should also use shampoos that help add moisture and volume. And you probably should be using less heating tools to avoid drying out your hair further. (For example, a straightening brush causes less damage than a straightener.)
