14. 'Two Old Women: An Alaskan Legend Of Betrayal, Courage And Survival'
Based on an Athabascan Indian legend that has been passed down from mothers to daughters of the upper Yukon River Valley in Alaska, this tale is about two old women abandoned by their tribe during a brutal winter famine. Left to their own devices, they must rely on each other in order to survive, and with steely determination, they set out to make it past the winter alone.
