Nebraska's population is around 2 million. In size, it ranks No. 15 at just under 77,000 square miles. That means it's on the low end for population density — though certainly not for Snow Geese, as shown in this photo.

Snow Geese are migratory, and so is Nebraska's population, with 2019 statistics showing that over half of the moves in Nebraska were to a different state. That puts it in the No. 8 spot on the top 10 states people left.
