"The owner of these pieces is the Grandson of Baseball Hall of Fame Member, Ned Hanlon, legendary baseball manager. The set includes championship lapel pins each feature a ruby, sapphire, and a diamond to signify the the three consecutive National League pennants Hanlon led the Baltimore Orioles to win. The pins were then engraved with Ned Hanlon’s name and were a gift from the team owner. Ned Hanlon was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1996."
