11. No More Nightcap
A lot of us have a glass of wine to decompress before bed. But while it might seem counterintuitive, that glass of wine may actually be interfering with your sleep. Alcohol can disrupt your body’s circadian rhythms, or your internal clock, as well as suppress your melatonin production.

While it’s fine to indulge in a glass of wine or beer at dinner, it’s best not to have a drink right before bed. Any alcohol that stays in your system at bedtime — even a small amount — will affect your sleep quality.
