1. Develop A Long Term Game Plan
Rather than popping into the stylist a few times a year and trying out new styles, sit down with your hairdresser and figure out a game plan that will work best with your tresses and that you can stick to.
"One thing I do for my gray-haired clients, whether it be natural gray hair, or colored gray hair, I develop a long-term plan for their hair, based on their level of maintenance, desired hair color, and budget they have," Mishawna M. Romero, a stylist for 12 years and who works at Salon Marchessa in California, tells It's Rosy. "The end result is as my clients age, they end up looking better and better over time because their hair is well cared for."
