2. Sandra Oh
This one's so fresh it still stings. But Oh, the first Asian-American woman to be nominated in a leading role for the 2018 (!) Emmys, sadly didn't clinch it despite her mesmerizing performance as the quirky and intrepid MI-5 secret agent Eve Polastri in Killing Eve. After nine long years capturing hearts as Dr. Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy and six supporting nominations, we think the Academy owes her one. (Note: Oh is 47, but we felt like this list was incomplete without her.)
