5. Boston Terrier

Weighing between 17-25 pounds, the Boston Terrier is small enough to be portable, has modest exercise requirements, and unlike some of the other Terriers, they can be more easy going. They are great for seniors, not so great with small children. They have short snouts from their bulldog ancestors, and they can tend to snore and snort.
